PROJECT ROOM
Code signing policy.
The Mac release is signed and notarized with an Apple Developer ID. The current Windows preview is unsigned. We are preparing Windows code signing through SignPath Foundation; approval is pending.
Windows release signing
Free code signing provided by SignPath.io, certificate by SignPath Foundation. This describes the intended Windows release process; no current Windows download carries this signature. Once approved, the public GitHub Actions build will submit its installer to SignPath, a trusted project approver will review every release, and only the returned, verified installer will be published as signed.
Team responsibility
Authors are Project Room repository collaborators with write access; Benedikt Sauter (sauterbe) maintains the project. OpenProjectRoom organization owners review outside contributions and approve each signing request. Maintainers with repository and signing access use multi-factor authentication.
Source and privacy
Read the full repository policy, the public source, and the privacy notice. Project Room reads your chosen project locally; configured connections and coding agents can contact the services you use, and packaged apps check GitHub Releases for updates.
Remove the app
On Windows, uninstall Project Room through Settings → Apps → Installed apps. Your own project repositories are not removed by the uninstaller.
